Amalgamated Forum [OEYAF] has urged
the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) and other anti graft
agencies to investigate the allegations of
financial impropriety levelled against one
of the Directors of Local Government
Administration in the state.

A petition signed by the group’s
coordinator, Mr Samuel Fanibe and
Secretary Joel Memuletiwon urged the
Commission to beam its searchlight on
the alleged financial scam, believed to
have been perpetrated by the official in
all the local councils he had worked in the
past.

The group said “the need for your
Commission to beam its searchlight on
the Financial scandal committed by the
Director who is one of the presidential
candidates of National Union of Local
Government Employees [NULGE] in the
state became imperative in view of his
ambition ”
“It is pertinent to remind your
Commission that the official was one of
the nine Senior Staff in the local
government councils in Ondo state who
attempted to defraud the state in
collaboration with Senior Officers of the
Ministry of Local Government and
Chieftancy Affairs to the tune of N650M
over 2012 leave’s bonus.

“He has been involved in various
frauds in all the councils he had
worked. His
activities have made him to acquire so
much assets worth several millions of
Naira.
“As a senior staff, it may interest your
commission to note that he has three
sprawling hotels-one at Ikare-Akoko, one
in Owo town, and the third one in Ore
town.

“He also has four hostels at Akungba
Akoko and three at FUTA area of Akure
and he has fourteen houses completed
and rented out in various locations in
Akure, the state capital.

“Above all he, has over N150M in various
bank accounts with fictitious names. We
