30-Year-Old Man Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Indomie noodles

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence
Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa on Tuesday said
it arrested a 30-year-old man (name
withheld) for alleged theft of Indomie
noodles.
The corps Commandant, Mr Muhammad
Gidado, told the News Agency of Nigeria
(NAN) in Dutse that the suspect was
arrested in Shuwarin, Kiyawa Local
Government Area, for allegedly stealing 3
cartons of the noodles and 2 crates of
eggs.
He said the corps had been trailing the
suspect as one of the alleged criminals
terrorising shop owners in Dutse and its
environs for a long period.
“The suspect has been terrorising shop
owners in Dutse and its environs for a
long period of time.
“But we finally arrested him in Shuwarin
after he stole 3 cartons of Indomie and 2
crates of egg,” Gidado said.
He said the suspect was arrested around
5.29 p.m. on Monday by intelligence
officers stationed in the area.
The commandant said the suspect
claimed that he committed the offence
under the influence of alcohol.
He, however, said the suspect would soon
be charged to court.
