REVEALED! HOW MANDELA'S AMBULANCE BROKE DOWN FOR FORTY MINUTES ON WAY TO HOSPITAL

As South Africans and many people around the world fuss over the health of Nelson Mandela, it has emerged that the intensive care ambulance that "rushed" him to hospital in the early hours of Saturday 8 June broke down along the way. The frail ANC and anti-Apartheid legend was delayed for forty precious minutes before being transferred onto another vehicle - a military ambulance - to complete the fifty minute journey between Johannesburg and.the Medi Clinic Heart hospital. However, presidential mouthpiece Mac Maharaj maintains that "All care was taken to ensure that former president Mandela's medical condition was not compromised by the unforeseen incident." While doctors treating Mr Mandela were satisfied that he suffered no harm during the period, latest reports indicate that nothing has changed in his condition since his admission. The 94-year-old statesman whose liver and kidneys have shrunk to fifty per cent is said to be in a serious but stable condition after being "unresponsive for days."
